V ENCOUNTERS BETWEEN CONTEMPORARY ART ARCHIVE DEPARTMENTS

Innovation and new strategies for the research and diffusion of documentary art heritage

3 and 4 November 2010

One constant characteristic of documentation centres is their search for innovation in the products and services that they provide. Their objective is to optimise the new opportunities and benefits resulting from the increased access to information enjoyed by users and cultural organisations in contemporary society.

As cooperation between the different documentation centres will optimise available resources and increase the social repercussions of results, the aim is to create synergies among their IT professionals.

The purpose of these meetings is to share information on the projects that are being developed in different documentation centres and to consider new strategies for researching and diffusing documentary art heritage.
