III ENCOUNTERS BETWEEN CONTEMPORARY ART ARCHIVE DEPARTMENTS
Planning, management and marketing in information and documentation systems
24 and 25 October 2006
A society that is subject to constant change requires new models and management systems. Strategic planning aims to encourage creativity and facilitate improved communications with the community.
Management principles should be put into a context of continuous change. All change requires human interaction and technology to reach its objectives.
New techniques, knowledge and skills are needed to plan information services adapted to the times. Organisational structures, communication techniques and marketing strategies are all required in an integrated planning scheme.
In these Encounters the aim is to share experiences and to think about strategic planning as an analytical process and a key element in the search for excellence in information service management.
