The ARTIUM of Alava Foundation is a non-profit entity set up in February 2001 by the Provincial Council of Alava to direct and manage ARTIUM, Basque Centre-Museum of Contemporary Art. Its Board of Trustees is formed by public institutions that took part in the construction and initiation process of ARTIUM and the private entities that, through their participation in the Corporate Members Programme of these Foundation, became Private Trustees.

Forming part of the Corporate Members Programme means making a decisive contribution to the development of the centre-museum and its activities, allowing the museum to initiate new projects, reaching a high level of excellence and in short, participating actively in the social and cultural development of the inhabitants of this city.

Those entities that associate their name with that of the ARTIUM of Alava Foundation strengthen their links with society and obtain moreover, a series of differential advantages in their relationship with this centre-museum. .
